RPF 9500 Posts for Male & Female Physical Test, Written Examination,  Exam Pattern

RRB recruitment 2018 Railways Minister Piyush Goyal has announced the initiation  recruitment for 9500 jobs for the Railway Protection Force. Indian railway recruitment 2018, railway recruitment 2018, Railway Protection Force jobs, railway jobs, indian railway jobs, Railway Recruitment Board, Piyush Goyal said that out of these 9500 jobs, 50% seats will be kept for women candidates. 90,000 group C and D jobs is currently underway. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) released two separate notifications for the recruitment of 62,907 Group D Posts along with 26,502 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Technician posts earlier this year.

Bonus marks-
Bonus marks are allotted as under:
i) HEIGH-
A male applicant whose height is 178 cms or more and a female applicant whose height is more than 165 cms will be given 03 marks as bonus.
iv) Total Bonus Marks for all categories put together shall not exceed 5.

i) NCC–
B Certificate of NCC – 01 mark
C Certificate of NCC – 02 mark
Maximum mark for NCC certificates is 02.

iii) SPORTS-
University at inter-university sports – 01 mark
State at inter-state sports – 02 marks
India at international sports meet – 03 marks.
Medal winner at national level sports meet – 03 marks.

Written Examination- The written test examination conducted for the 120 marks. This consists of 120 objective type questions, each question will carry single mark. With a duration of 90 minutes. And it has a negative marking of 1/3 for every wrong answer.

There will also be a negative marking. 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Note : Applicants who wish to have the question paper in a particular language may indicate so in the Application Form. Language, once chosen cannot be changed under any circumstance.

Note - “Candidate  must obtain at least 35% Marks (30% in the case of SC and ST candidates) in the Written Examination for being considered for other Test/Tests”.

RPF Constable Exam Pattern 2018- 1. General Intelligence & Reasoning- Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.

2. Arithmetic- This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.

3. General Awareness- Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.

Age Limit- Age of the candidates must be in between 18 years to 25 Years Age limit for General As on 01.01.2018. Age relaxation will also be applicable by the Government rules.

Pay Scale- Candidates will be paid good Salary package for the Constable post in Railway protection Force. Salary would be paid Rs. 5200 to 20200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2, 000/- Monthly to all among selected candidates.
